'78 KZ400 Project
I purchased a torn down leftover project of someone elses, in a '78 Kawasaki KZ400 C1. I will update as the teardown and rebuild progresses. And if it turns out to be a solid bike I also have plans of future modification. Enjoy!

I got the new rear brackets painted, and touched up the battery case and it's new bracket. Then I rerouted the flasher relay and regulator wiring to fit under the seat. With them outa the way I started making a right side body panel. Once I finish it I'm gonna start on the left side, whichll take longer cuz the battery case sticks out slightly past the frame. Once I get a capacitor setup figured out I can scrap the side panles and have the bike a straight shot through!
Got the clutch cable issue figured out! Ordered one for the 78 b1 instead of the 78 a2 like I had got. I also got some sheet metal and made new brackets for the tail light and rear blinkers. I'm also making an extension to the iner fender to protect the wiring and the plastic signal lenses. I also had to see what it looked like mocked up with the new set up!
